Former Classic 105’s Ciku Muiruri Sues KTN’s MOHA For Linking Her To Arturs
Ciku Muiruri

Former Classic 105 presenter, Ciku Muiruri, has filed a case in court against KTN’s investigative reporter, Mohammed Ali, for linking her to the infamous Artur Brothers.

In his epic expose, Mohammed Ali showed one of the Artur brothers getting romantic with the former Classic FM presenter and portrayed her as a prostitute who traded her flesh with the two criminals.
Ciku claims that the expose aired on April last year has damaged her image and her future prospects. It has also made social media fans ridicule her and majority of Kenyans view her as a loose woman.

The former radio queen claims that he only met the Artur brothers once for an interview in which they invited her and other journalists to their Runda home.

That evening, the two foreign mercenaries took a photo with her and Mohammed Ali misreported that she was in an illicit love affair with them.
“I am aware Mr Magaryan lifted me and placed me on a counter, which was surprising to me and we then posed for pictures. However, it was not unusual for him as I was not the only one he took pictures with him in this fashion during the said evening,” Ciku states in her court papers.
Ciku further questions why KTN’s Moha only used her photo in his expose yet there were other journalists who attended the media interview with the Artur brothers in their Runda home.
“The statements were needless, malicious and with the intention to causing disrepute and to humiliate me in the eyes of the person who watched the programme,” She further states.
Ms Muiruri claims that she was an unnecessary person in the expose and more shocking is that Mohammed Ali linked her to the death of former Cabinet Minister George Saitoti.
“I was not responsible for the death of George Saitoti and Mohammed Ali has really damaged my reputation. That’s irresponsible journalism.” She further says.
Ciku now wants the Jicho Pevu host to pay her for damages that would see her walk home with millions if he is found guilty of the offence.
