GHANA: BNI And Immigration Service Bosses Sacked Over Deportation Of The 3 South African Mercenaries

The Bureau of National Investigation (BNI) Ghana Immigration Service (GIS) bosses have been sacked over the deportation of the three South Africans,

A source from the presidency hinted ondamic.com that the BNI and GIS bosses were both detained during the weekend at the BNI cells by their junior oyicers who ridiculed them throughout their detention.

The source added that, the two senior oyicers who shown immaturity in the handling of the three South Africans have been handed Letters of Dismissalearly Monday morning azer being invited by the president to do several ‘squatting’ (Adanko M’so eden).

A tape released to Ondamic.com which will be published shortly shows these two security chiefs doing several squats while holding their ears as the President counts. The BNI boss is seen crying and begging in the video. Prez. John Dramani Mahama, who described the arrest and deportation of three South Africans by the BNI and GIS as “quixotic” and “laughable” says

these two security bosses did not exhibit any sense of duty in their dealings with the three South Africans.

The President also questioned the BNI why they have not invited anyone in connection with the untimely death of the former president Prof. Evans Attah Mills. As he [BNI boss] looks at the president’s face as a child begging to be forgiven for his punishment, the president further asked why they have been silent on the Agogo – Fulani War.

The president assured the general public of maximum protection and fairness in security dealings for all citizens of the country and promised that those who will be appointed to

replace these two security bosses will not be biased in their dealings. He then urged the new BNI boss-to-be to look into the death of the late Prof. Attah Mills.

The three South Africans are ex-police chiefs and were brought to Ghana by Ghana’s main opposition party NPP to train its security personnel.

Few days after the deportation of the three South Africans, a whole plane carrying Ghanaians from Accra to Johannesburg was deported. On board was Foreign Minister Hannah Tetteh, members of the NDC party and other people who are yet to be identified
