All the rage: The Charlie Charlie Challenge is a supernatural ritual that allegedly makes it possible to contact a ghost using paper and pencils (above)
Individuals are supposed to first chant 'Charlie, Carlie, can we play?' twice, and wait to see if the crossed pencil points towards 'Yes' or 'No.'
If it points towards yes, they can asked the spirit questions.
Then, they must at the end ask permission to stop the game by chanting 'Charlie, Charlie can we stop?'
Individuals must wait until Charlie says 'Yes' to stop.
Every time a pencil does move it seems to be met with screaming and, on some occasions, the teenagers and children running from their room.
There is also a two person version of the game that uses six pencils.
